Hey friends! So after nearly 2 decades I have filmed an updated version of my OG making my own stamp cleaner video and have this post and whatnot to go along with it. As my old blog was wiped out a few years ago and that info is in the pinned post here on my website. I lost 15ish years of my work – posts, tutorials, photos, etc etc that are just gone. Regardless, many things can use an update and fresh version so here we go!

Here’s the graphic with the recipe:

The links to mostly everything are below. Things like measuring cup, measuring spoons, funnel, distilled water etc etc either people will already have, or in the case of distilled water can be purchased locally for a few dollars. Same with the glycerin and baby shampoo/mild detergent – those can also most likely be purchased locally and if not I did provide links to them.

Do you HAVE to use distilled water? No. But over time it may start to smell bad or go “off” and can eventually cause the bottle to yellow (especially clear plastic bottles – those do tend to yellow over time when regular tap water is used in them and they sit for months/years). I’ve had a lot of random questions about substitutions for distilled water and honestly? A jug of it at my local pharmacy is around $5 Canadian. Any other option/substitution/boiling water/whatever is more time/money/effort than I am willing to entertain as a jug like I showed lasts me for years. The jug I showed in this video I purchased at least a couple of years ago if not longer, and I use it in any of my water spray bottles, in my little water brushes, and to make stamp cleaner. It sits on a shelf and I don’t need to worry about it going smelly or going off.

OK that’s it for now! Have a fabulous day!!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.

Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home and provide for my children! I appreciate your support more than words can say! I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review – I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
